My must have AVEDA products

I have worked part time for AVEDA for over 3 years now and everyone always asks me what are the best products so I put together a picture collage of my must have AVEDA  products.

Fredrick Fekkai Brilliant Glossing Cream

ImageI was working the press days at the new STYLEHAUS location on Melrose place and the Fredrick Fekkai salon is right next door. I haven’t tried many of their products before so I went over and introduced myself and asked if they had any products that they wanted me to use on our clients. The Brilliant Glossing cream is one of the products they gave me and I love it! Its super shiny and glossy without being greasy. The creme texture makes it easy to apply to the hair after emulsifying it on your hands. The scent is very light and not overpowering. It seems to work on all hair types as well. Defenitly a product I recommend :)

Madison Los Angeles -photo shoot

I have recently started working with Madison Los Angeles doing hair and makeup for their photo shoots and website. Madison, renowned for its extensive selection of contemporary and designer clothing, shoes and accessories, has made its mark in Los Angeles by offering a lifestyle of fashion, wearability and practicality; timelessly chic. I instantly fell in love with the store , the clothes are phenomenal and the staff is amazing. We shot at the 3rd / Robertson location under the supervision of   Store manager Kristin Fernandez  and photographer Ari Michelson.  I have to admit I am slightly obsessed with the CHLOE flats with the sparkly ankle strap , you can catch a glimpse of them in one of the shots. The pictures are amazing and I look forward to partnering with them in the future! enjoy :)

2011 Latin Grammys

This year I traveled to Las Vegas NV with my client Claudia Brant for 2 days of Latin Grammy festivities. Using some of my favorite products really helped me get through 2 days of hair and makeup touch ups : Makeup Forever HD Foundation , Beauty Blender, Aveda Control Force hairspray, Makeup Forever HD Translucent setting powder, and lots of false lashes! I also had the pleasure of working with other artists while in vegas including Grammy award winner Paulina Aguire.

halloween 2011

Halloween 2011 is officially over and I must say I am not too sad to see it go. It was a fun and busy weekend for me as a makeup artist, I didn’t even end up dressing up myself. Here are some pics of my fabulous clients. Special shout out to Tami Shirey for being an amazing assistant and handling the hair and driving thru the maze of traffic to get us to our clients on time!
